Workshop: Small group lesson at her studio in TriBeCa

  Not getting enough instruction at big class? Take Semi-private lesson from Michiyo!

Rates: $35 for 2hrs session (6 students max at a lesson)

Pick your convenient sessions and pay as you go.

Day: Sundays and Mondays

Time: 10:30am-12:30pm, 1:30pm-3:30, 6:30pm-8:30

 11 lessons ticket available for $300.   For period of time, you will get a set of 6 brushes for free with purchase of the ticket.

 You need to make an appointment for the session you want to attend.

Cancellation policy:
For morning and afternoon students, please notify michiyo before midnight the day before to avoid being charged, for evening students, notify her by noon of the lesson day
If you cancel after the time limit, you will be charged for the lesson.
Please try to let her know if you will not make a lesson even if it is beyond the cancellation time so that no one have to leave your spot open and wondering if you are coming.

Beginning Watercolor
(introductory)
Michiyo Fukushima

Thursdays: Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
January 29th - April 23rd (No Class March 19th)
$450 (tuition) (Twelve 3-hour Sessions)

This course is designed for beginning students wishing to learn the basic techniques of watercolor painting. A series of demonstrations will be conducted introducing the foundation skills needed for working in this lively medium; including layering colors, painting wet on wet, creating detail and texture, creating dramatic light and using frisket. Students will create several finished paintings utilizing the demonstrated techniques. One-on-one instruction will be provided in each class.

Additionally, Ms. Fukushima will bring in samples of her work and discuss the process she employs when creating her award-winning art including choosing subject matter, composition, initial drawing and final painting.
